First MD, Ob/Gyn graduate from MIMS, Dr. R. Puja was falicitated with PUTTACHI award for securing highest marks on August 21, 2023.
For the year 2022, the usual AWARD ceremony was held on July 24th at the Gandhibhavana at Mandya.
For the year 2021, on August 25, 2021, Donated Rs. 2.5 lacks to the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences. From this monies, the Medical college is to award Rs. 10,000.00 annually to a OBGYN graduating Resident with the highest Marks, to be administered by the Medical College.
For the year 2021, as there was no Resident Graduates yet, Medical Student Ms. Ria Syed Ali, who secured highest marks in OBGYN was awarded Rs. 10,000.00 on July 27, 2021.

For the year 2020, the usual AWARD ceremony was cancelled due to the COVID-19 VIRUS Pandemic. Instead, Rs. 3.56 lacks was donated to the Prime Minister's Citizen's Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) fund to help in the governments fight against Covid-19 virus 0n April 13, 2020.
